The popular band and orchestra’s repertoire includes something for everyone – Spanish Eyes, the Minstrel Boy, Hey Jude, songs from the 1940s to contemporary tunes such as Adele’s Skyfall or Black Eyed Peas “I got a feeling’ and even Kraftwerk’s ‘The Model.

They will perform at The Forum, Northallerton on Thursday 8 October at 7.30pm. Tickets £10 are available from the box office on 01609 776230, email info@northallerton.org.uk or you can book online at www.forumnorthallerton.org.uk.

Caring Bill Waters, 84, from Northallerton has generously sponsored and organised the event, he said: “I wanted to do something to help my local hospital as a tribute to my wife, as I know this is what she would have wanted. I hope people will come along to the concert, enjoy a superb musical evening and help support the scanner appeal at the same time.”

The appeal’s team will be selling MRI scanner car raffle tickets at the concert. Bill has also kindly donated three cash prizes as runners up prizes.
